One of the best and most exciting things of the new year is the new slew of books that are coming!  A couple of these, I’ve been waiting for since 2017, so they’ve been on my radar for a while – others are sequels to books I’ve read this year.  One way or the other, I’m so excited for these books and I want to share them with you, because I hope you’re excited for them too!

Okay, so a few of these I received as ARCs?  But I’m really excited for everyone to read them, so they made the list! 🙂

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday asks about the books we’re excited for in the first half of 2019, but honestly, I couldn’t just pick between now and June!  There’s so many books coming this year that will be excellent!  I can’t wait to read them all, and for you to read them, and we’ll have an awesome bookish year. 😉

What books are you excited for this year?

Are any of these on your TBR?

If you could only preorder one book in 2019, what would it be?

I really, really hope you like The Gilded Wolves! 🙂 I was fortunate enough to be able to read it already and it’s wonderful, if you like that kind of story. 🙂

The covers for this series are gooooooooorgeous, but if you’re interested, you have to start with Reign of the Fallen! Song of the Dead is book two… but don’t worry, Reign is just as pretty.

  1. Seeing Song of the Dead, I wish I could read Reign of the Fallen. I’ve heard the book has really good bi rep! Have you heard of Descendant of the Crane by Joan He? I’m really excited for that one!

I read Reign of the Fallen last year and LOVED it, I really hope you are able to get to it and that your enjoy it. 🙂

Descendant of the Crane is on my TBR! 🙂 Can’t wait to hear what you think about it – I honestly added it months ago and only just remembered it when you mentioned… I’m the worst, lol.

Me too – I absolutely ADORE the title. It’s why I put it on my TBR in the first place. XD How can you resist?

    • Amber

I hope you like them both! I was lucky enough to be able to read The Gilded Wolves early and I LOVED it! 🙂

I will say that The Night Circus isn’t for everyone? I really, REALLY loved it, but it’s a slow paced book and a lot of people lose patience. Still, if you can stick it out, it’s a beautiful love story in an incredible world. 🙂 I hope The Starless Sea is everything we both want! 🙂
