August Wrap Up

Hello everyone!  How did August go for everyone?  Summer is winding away, and autumn is nearly here!  My  August was busy with friends in the beginning and work at the end.  I read some great books, ate some great food, and I am SO SO excited for September because I have a lot of fun stuff planned in September! As I’m writing this, I’ve got Black-ish on in background, eating some amazing bakery chocolate cream pie, hot tea… the porch door is wide open and my Lizzie cat is curled up right next to me.  Can’t ask for much more than that. July Wrap Up

I know I usually say “wow that month went by so fast”, but seriously, y’all, July?  July was a long long month.  I struggled to balance reading with writing with blogging with life with health stuff and sunshine and just everything and I am ready for autumn.  This is how you know I’m a New Englander – I’m ready for fall now. Yes? Yes. July wasn’t so bad – just busy!  I don’t like to be busy – I love me some weekends to sit at home and relish in doing nothing.  It’s the best.  August is gonna be busy too, […]

June Wrap Up

June is already gone, and what an unexpected month it has been.  For me, June has been a month that has required patience – at work and at home, and with my reading.  As I write this, though, my house is peacefully quiet and it smells like barbecue pulled pork, so it important to find all the little things are cling to them lovingly. All in all, June has been a good month.  It went by so fast, but doesn’t it seem like they all do, by the time we hit the wrap up?   Y’all know how I keep […]

May Wrap Up

Sometime in the midst of May, summer arrived! When I left to go to Europe, there was a snowstorm on our tail, following us from New Hampshire all the way up to Manhattan. When I came back, it was 80-degrees outside!  That, in a brief description, is New England weather.  I love it and I hate it, but overall I’m really glad to see the sunshine. Mentally and emotionally, May is a difficult month for me.  I’ll talk about that a little more later, but lets start, as always, with the books!             The breakdown: ARCs/Freebies from Publishers: The Story Girl, LIFEL1K3, […]

April Wrap Up // Anne Shirley, Adventures, and All That Jazz.

Since I just got back from my European adventures Saturday night, this is going to be short and sweet because my loves, I am back to work today and I need to majorly get back into work mode.  Trust me, I am 100% still soaking at Blue Lagoon. In spirit. The Monthly Haul I meant to tone it down with April’s haul, but, haha, I am hilarious.  I found SALES at Barnes & Noble!  I am hopeless. Y’all should see the condition of my bookcase.  It’s a mess. So OF COURSE after Anne of the Island, I HAD to get the […]
