What books did you read when you were younger that still hold up today?

For me, I think the Abhorsen trilogy (plus Clariel) holds up well. It’s as enjoyable of a read for adults as teens if you like complex fantasy, and to my recollection, none of it aged poorly (please correct me if I’m wrong! It’s been a little while.)

Do you ever preorder a book reeeeeeally early because you’re so excited, then months and months later when it arrives ... not ... read it? 🤣 I STILL haven’t read A Constellation of Roses even though I think I’ll really like it! It has been doomed to my TBR Jar.

Last year I started integrating all my preorders into my TBR as they come. Even though it means I’m pulling fewer books from my TBR Jar, it also means I’m actually reading the new books I buy!
