Happy December, loves. This is it.  This is the end of the year, and fresh with good memories and bad ones – joy and regret.  This is the final push to reach our reading and writing and blogging goals.  I’ll be doing a proper 2018 wrap up tomorrow, but suffice it to say that things went well this year, at least as far as reading goes! June is already gone, and what an unexpected month it has been.  For me, June has been a month that has required patience – at work and at home, and with my reading.  As I write this, though, my house is peacefully quiet and it smells like barbecue pulled pork, so it important to find all the little things are cling to them lovingly. Usually, I sit down and write a review within twelve hours of finishing a book.  It just works better that way – the story is still fresh in my mind.
