June is already gone, and what an unexpected month it has been.  For me, June has been a month that has required patience – at work and at home, and with my reading.  As I write this, though, my house is peacefully quiet and it smells like barbecue pulled pork, so it important to find all the little things are cling to them lovingly. Neil Gaiman is remarkably good at creepy-crawly stories.  He writes worlds that you are curious about, but perhaps don’t want to live in (but maybe you do, just a little).  I read The Graveyard Book last year and it was amazing.  In reaching for another of Gaiman’s childrens books, I was hoping for the same.  I know lots of people who love Coraline, and I wanted to be one of those people too.  However, with Neil Gaiman I tread carefully, because his books are very hit-or-miss for me.
