It’s that annual wrap up time of year again! When I set up the placeholder for this post a year ago and called it “Reading Challenges and Blogging Hurdles” I had no idea how true that would ring.  I know I was thinking about following through on my personal reading challenge as well as Start On Your Shelfathon… but y’all?  2020 has been rife with reading challenges.  And blogging hurdles.  I am plum worn out. Usually, I use this post to share Goodread’s “My Year In Books”.  This year, I’m going to pull a little data from that page, but they’ve stripped […]

Pan and Nova Ren Suma excites the imagination ands such a deliberate of language that while they flow together beautifully, they are also individually beautiful. Often with these sorts of collections. I’ll go in and rate the discuss each of the pieces on their […]

Here we are everyone, in the first days of August, the summer mostly over.  I guess one of the good things about 2020 is that it’s really flying by.  I didn’t really expect that because … well … we’re all stuck at home.  Or at least, I am!  The United States has honestly been atrocious with handling COVID-19.  There are “guidelines” in place, but only about half the citizens I’ve seen out and about actually follow them.  … It’s so basic y’all! *huff puff* ANYWAY. Still, a lot of positive movement this summer.  Let’s just dig in and I’ll tell you […]
