20 Questions Book Tag

Back in June, the lovely Iris tagged me to participate in the 20 Questions Book Tag!  Have y’all even played 20 questions?  Most frustrating game ever – I feel like it always ends up being way more than 20 questions, and I never guess it right! The book tag version is much more fun.  Thanks for the tag, Iris, and y’all make sure you go check out Hoard of Books! Question One How many books are too many books in a book series? The Signed Prisoner of Azkaban I’ll Never Have

I don’t believe in collecting rare book editions.  That is to say – I don’t think it’s wise to collect books for the purpose of their value, unless you are well-to-do and have a gallery for display or something like that – books are meant to reread, after all! You’ll be delighted to hear that in Queen of the Tearling, all 7 Harry Potter books made the Crossing.  Mine only has […]

The NOPE Tag

Today’s book tag was lovingly stolen from Destiny @ Howling Libraries and was originally created by A Booktube Book.  Because sometimes you need to be a bit of a negative muffin about books that just didn’t work out.  Let’s get grumpy, shall we? NOPE. Ending A book ending that made you go NOPE either in denial, rage, or simply because the ending was crappy. Immediately jumping to mind is The Fate of the Tearling by Erika Johansen. Yes, yes, I know, I often recommend the Queen of the Tearling trilogy and have actually listed The Fate of the Tearling on […]
