Good morning everyone! I’ll be completely honest, July didn’t go quite the way I was expecting in the book department!  That’s not a bad thing, but it was different!  I was planning to join with the Camp NaNoWriMo spirit and do a lot of writing and learning about writing, and instead I ended up participating in two readathons! I have a lot of ideas in my head, but transferring the moving images and chattering characters to words is more difficult than I’d like. For the month of July, I challenged myself to work through Margaret Atwood’s MasterClass and actually do the assignments.  The class is only four hours long… I could “complete the course” in less than a day.  But to actually put the elements to work?  I needed to follow the assignments. Happy July everyone! This month reminds me of picnics and spending summers at the lake by my family.  We didn’t have a lake house or anything, but there was a really nice beach in bicycling distance and there were some summers when we were there every day. Ah, life was so much simpler when I was twelve.
