Libraries of Wonder // June OwlCrate Unboxing // SPOILERS!

This month’s OwlCrate is here!  Are you guys sick of these unboxings yet?  I’ve got two more OwlCrates to go before my subscription is up and I give y’all a little bit of a break. 🙂 For those of you who’ve been around the block a couple times, you already know that OwlCrate is my favorite subscription box and I’ve historically had really good success with it.  Not every item or every box is a perfect fit for me, but they’ve got closer than any other box. OwlCrate offers two subscriptions – your standard box with a YA book and some […]

May OwlCrate Unboxing – Epic Adventures – SPOILERS!

May OwlCrate Unboxing – Epic Adventures – SPOILERS!

Good morning lovelies! It’s time for the monthly OwlCrate unboxing!  To start, the regular spiel: For those of you who aren’t familiar with OwlCrate, it’s a monthly young adult book subscription box based in the US.  Monthly subscriptions are $29.99 + shipping and they usually ship around the 15th of the month. I’ve had historically really good luck with OwlCrate.  I’d say that I am 100% happy with 90% of their boxes, which is the best luck I’ve had with any book box, personally.  There are others that are really good as well – I will shout to the ends of […]

Murder & Mayhem // March 2019 OwlCrate Unboxing // SPOILERS

After posting the February OwlCrate Unboxing last month, I got some great feedback about unboxings and ultimately I decided based on what y’all told me, I’d keep doing them when I can!  I agree it is interesting to hear about the different subscription boxes out there, and perhaps on more of an opinion-basis as opposed to a “this is what was included” thing.  Alors, I bring you the March 2019 OwlCrate unboxing! For those of you who aren’t familiar with OwlCrate, it’s a monthly young adult book subscription box based in the US.  Monthly subscriptions are $29.99 + shipping and […]

Whimsical Beasts // February 2019 Owlcrate Unboxing // SPOILERS

Hey y’all. It’s been a hot minute since I did an OwlCrate unboxing, so I thought I would do a bit of a casual one today! Between being on vacation last week, as well as all the ARCs I’m trying to bust through for this month’s TBR, I think it’s fair to say that March is going to be Review Lite.  So I wanted to spread some box love on these empty days! For those of you who aren’t familiar with OwlCrate, it’s a monthly young adult book subscription box based in the US.  Monthly subscriptions are $29.99 + shipping […]

Bookish Things That Aren’t Books – Some Fab Swag I Love

Bookish Things That Aren’t Books – Some Fab Swag I Love

There are two reasons why I keep subscribing to book boxes. The first is that OwlCrate has forced me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things.  For example, The Hearts We Sold and Foolish Hearts are books I wouldn’t have picked up on my own, and I loved them both.  Also the exclusive covers are a huge perk for me. The second reason is the swag! Frankly speaking, if you don’t enjoy the swag in a book box, there’s really no point in subscribing.  The books themselves, even in hard copy at full price, still come to about […]
