Wonderful Books that Need a Spotlight in the Blogosphere

Wonderful Books that Need a Spotlight in the Blogosphere

Book bloggers tend to be individuals who read a lot. A LOT.  It’s very easy to fall into the hype of books promoted by one of the bigger influencers in our community.  These books blossom out like wildfire.  And, yes, they’re largely very good.  Things like Six of Crows and Strange the Dreamer.  But there are books – a lot of other books – that slip under the radar.  And they’re good books. Today, I want to share with you some great books that haven’t been really seen by the community as a whole.  Only two of these books are pre-orders (so […]

So Long to Apple Cider & Autumn Leaves: The October Wrap Up

So Long to Apple Cider & Autumn Leaves: The October Wrap Up

October is my favorite month of the year.  Between the spooky Halloween aesthetics, nutmeg and clove in the air, and beautiful leaves… it’s the most gorgeous month of the year in New England.  Add in the fact that it’s no longer 90-degrees with 100% humidity and that my birthday is in October, this is just generally a good month.  And while I’m sad to see it go, I’m excited to see what November will bring. […]

20 Questions Book Tag

20 Questions Book Tag

Back in June, the lovely Iris tagged me to participate in the 20 Questions Book Tag!  Have y’all even played 20 questions?  Most frustrating game ever – I feel like it always ends up being way more than 20 questions, and I never guess it right! The book tag version is much more fun.  Thanks for the tag, Iris, and y’all make sure you go check out Hoard of Books! Question One How many books are too many books in a book series? I think it depends on the series.  I would take about twelve more various Harry Potter books […]

July Wrap Up

July Wrap Up

I know I usually say “wow that month went by so fast”, but seriously, y’all, July?  July was a long long month.  I struggled to balance reading with writing with blogging with life with health stuff and sunshine and just everything and I am ready for autumn.  This is how you know I’m a New Englander – I’m ready for fall now. Yes? Yes. July wasn’t so bad – just busy!  I don’t like to be busy – I love me some weekends to sit at home and relish in doing nothing.  It’s the best.  August is gonna be busy too, […]
