June Wrap Up

June is already gone, and what an unexpected month it has been.  For me, June has been a month that has required patience – at work and at home, and with my reading.  As I write this, though, my house is peacefully quiet and it smells like barbecue pulled pork, so it important to find all the little things are cling to them lovingly. I’ve been meaning to pick up the Spiderwick books for ages.  Even though they’re children’s books, they’re staples in children’s fantasy… like Harry Potter or The Magic Treehouse.  They’re so short, though!  There’s not a lot to say! The sibling relationship was great and interesting.  I love that they are all so changeable, like children are, and I like the little tips about fae creatures and what to do about them.  I needed this guidebook when I was six.
