Good morning everyone! I’ll be completely honest, July didn’t go quite the way I was expecting in the book department!  That’s not a bad thing, but it was different!  I was planning to join with the Camp NaNoWriMo spirit and do a lot of writing and learning about writing, and instead I ended up participating in two readathons! It’s been fun but stressful.  It’s also been hot here in New England!  The heat waves have been coming by brutally, so it’s be a good time to read. The Lost Years by T. A. Barron

I tend to be a bit careful about Arthurian retellings.  I really like the whole Camelot aesthetic, but I feel like they often underwhelm. Not all of them, I know!  And, also, I haven’t read them all.  But I came into The Lost Years feeling careful, and I think that was a good choice. Time to be Accountable… My Off-the-Grid Readathon IV Review

Good morning my beautiful monsters and happy Friday! Last weekend, I participated in the Off-The-Grid Readathon.  I love this ruleless readathon, because it helps me bust through my TBR.  It’s a bit difficult to tell who is participating, because “off the grid” means put away your phone!  I’ve got to be honest – I didn’t do as well with the “put away your phone” aspect this time, but I did unplug from the television, so for me that was pretty good.
