Welcome to the first wrap up of 2021, where we get to look at everything that got rolling as the new year started and we can celebrate how strikingly different everything is now that it’s not 2020 anymore!   The Broken Earth trilogy is by far the most unique series of its kind I’ve ever read, and I’m comfortable saying that after only having finished the second book of three.  The science that drives the dystopia is fascinating, the storytelling style is unique… it takes me a little while to settle back into the world, but once I do, I find myself immersed.
