Good morning everyone!  How has the beginning of 2020 gone for everyone so far?  Has everyone stuck to their New Years Resolutions?  I’m rubbish at resolutions, if I’m being completely honest, but one of my big ones this year is to take better care of myself physically – sleep, hydration, diet, etc.  I mean, most people have that, right?  Here’s hoping that I can keep to it, and you all are doing amazingly on your resolutions as well! First off, I’m really glad I didn’t go into this expecting Artemis Fowl, because if I had, I would have been disappointed.  I’ve actually read a decent amount of Colfer’s work, so I’m familiar with the different types of stories he has but out.  Artemis is the best, but he is always entertaining.  And that’s still true here:  The Reluctant Assassin is entertaining. The story follows unlikely pair Riley and Chevie, one a waif from Victorian England, the other an American teen who is the product of a decommissioned FBI taskforce.  When Riley falls through a time tunnel, the pair […]
