Here we are everyone, in the first days of August, the summer mostly over.  I guess one of the good things about 2020 is that it’s really flying by.  I didn’t really expect that because … well … we’re all stuck at home.  Or at least, I am!  The United States has honestly been atrocious with handling COVID-19.  There are “guidelines” in place, but only about half the citizens I’ve seen out and about actually follow them.  … It’s so basic y’all! *huff puff* ANYWAY. Still, a lot of positive movement this summer.  Let’s just dig in and I’ll tell you […]

I’ve been personally doing a *little* better these days, and I think that comes with a better level of certainty and of course, more sunshine.  Like, literal sunshine.  I don’t do well in the spring.  While the world is still struggling, at least the outline […]

All Work & No Play Makes Me a Dull Girl…. – The April Wrap Up!

All Work & No Play Makes Me a Dull Girl…. – The April Wrap Up!

Trimming some of my wrap-up topics this month, my loves, because I am exhausted to my core.  We’ll make this bare bones – new books, books read, and challenges, and posts from April.  Rather than the real life adventures section, I’ll give you a sneak peek here…. First, the inevitable, I’ve definitely got the coronavirus blues.  As an essential worker, I’m only able to quarantine part time.  Some days, I’m really bitter about this, trying with a handful of people to do the work of several while adjusting to wearing a mask and gloves full time. April rounded out poorly […]
