Hello my beautiful monsters! I came across a reel of Anne Frances Murphy singing “A Little Bit Alexis” in Schitt’s Creek a couple weeks ago, and it’s been annoyingly in my head ever since. We actually just finished Schitt’s Creek (I’m not a binge-watcher) so a year later, I’m finally caught up with the rest of the world! October is my favorite month of the year. At the beginning of October, we were just coming back from Alaska and at the end of October, we headed south to Orlando, Florida. In between these two adventures, we’ve been lucky to have […]

The amount you enjoy The Wild Ones will be directly correlated to the amount you enjoy poetry and flowery language. Azad’s writing reminded me of Nikita Gill and Rupi Kaur. As such, this book was very much not my cup of tea, but it’s not a bad book! Just not a fit for my tastes. The make up of The Wild Ones is wonderful. Rain, rain, rain.  We got a new hammock chair for the deck back and June, and the weather said, “That’s hilarious!” and assured we could only rarely enjoy our deck.  Alas. There’s been a lot of positivity in August as well.  For starters, we came […]

Dear Greece, You Have My Heart – My July Wrap Up

When this post drops, I’ll be back from Greece, but only just.  With any luck we’ve stayed awake just long enough to bribe the cats into loving us again, then gone straight to bed for the day before heading back to work tomorrow.  Travel days are the longest, but they are still lovely, because I am grateful for any adventure. This post is going to be short and sweet, a lighter wrap up while I recover from vacation. Thank you loves, and I’m excited to tell you a bit more about the trip starting on August 20th. All the things […]
