January is the month that lasts forever. Here in the northern hemisphere, January is the first full month of really, really cold.  Well, at least it is in Massachusetts.  I’m looking forward to the thaw – I’m tired of shivering and numb fingers.  Grateful to have a home and a place with heat, so I try to focus on life’s small blessings instead of the single digit temperatures.
