2018 is off to a roaring start, n’est pas, mes chers? I’ve not been subtle about how much 2017 stunk for me, so I’m absolutely thrilled with the way January has unwound so far. I hope everyone else has had a good start, too! The Monthly Book Haul I ended up with quite a good haul this month – after a slow December on NetGalley, I ended up being granted 5 books. With the rise of modernity, we come to a world in YA literature where all proper heroines are gleefully trading in their gowns for breeches. But why?
